There are two things that can’t be done with The Tossed Out Deck. You can’t have the cards examined, and you certainly can’t have them shuffled. At least, you couldn’t do that until David Regal gave this plot the royal treatment. Three cards are thought of, and the performer is able to successfully reveal those thought-of cards. 2. The deck is rubber-banded and then handed out to the audience.
